The 26th Annual "Freedom is Not Free" Golf Fundraiser will be held on
June 7, 2025 Saturday morning at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course.
The
2025 format will be similar and updates will be posted in late fall of 2025.

Information below is from our 2024 Golf Fundraiser

 Four Hole-In-One Prizes

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND ALL MILITARY
Registration Starts at 6:45 AM - BBQ Lunch at 12:00 Noon.
Tee Off at 8:00 AM

FORMAT: Four Player Scramble, Individual Players are Welcome

Registration Fee $125 Per Person, Includes BBQ Lunch, Green Fees & Cart

Funds raised are used to provide:

  • Scholarships or other financial assistance to HOT applicants who have:

  • A parent eligible for MOAA membership.

  • Parents or grand-parents that are servicing or have served in the US military.

  • Current of former service members starting or continuing their higher education goals.

  • Those seeking to serve in the military by enrolling in an accredited Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program.

  • Cash grants to Baylor University's ROTC students.

  • Cash grants to young students from five Central Texas high school Junior ROTC programs.

  • Cash grants to cadets in the Heart of Texas Young Marines and Civil Air Patrol programs.

  • Cash grants to veterans' educational and service activities.

The HOT Chapter has awarded over $180,000 in grants, scholarships and veterans' educational andservice activities over the last 16 years. We are looking forward to your support of this worthy effort by participating in our 2024 golf scramble through sponsorships and donations. See Scholarships for more information on our program.
