Local/State Advocacy

The HOT MOAA chapter supports the MOAA national legislative agenda and we annually invite our Congressional Representative, who is a honorary member, to speak to our chapter.

The chapter is also active in supporting the Texas Council of Chapters in various state veterans’ issues. We include legislative updates in the monthly newsletter and will e-mail members on special legislative issues for contact with their elected representatives.
